The Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources (MEWR) has updated the Singapore Green Plan 2012 (SGP2012) after eight months of extensive consultation. This is the first three-yearly review since SGP2012 was launched in 2002, and covers the period from April to December 2005.

The SGP2012 (2006 edition) has incorporated the majority (more than 90%) of the recommendations raised by the three Focus Groups formed as part of the review, reflecting strong public ownership and commitment to continue to protect and enhance our environment.
