Safe Distancing

  • • Stay at home. Don’t go out unless you have to, e.g., to see a doctor, buy food and essential items, or to exercise in nearby parks. Go home as soon as you are done.
  • • Limit social contact to household members. Stay in touch with others, family or friends, through video or phone calls.
  • • Do not gather in groups, either at home or outside, including in HDB towns and neighbourhood centres.
  • • Keep a safe distance of at least 1 metre from others, even in open spaces, e.g., in queues or when exercising.
  • • No eating and drinking in eating places. Bring a clean container to pack your food for takeaway, or opt for delivery.
  • Non-compliance is an offence.
Those who refuse to comply will face the following:
    1st offence: $300 fine
2nd offence: $1,000 composition fine, or prosecution in court for egregious cases.
  • The health of all depends on each one of us. Thank you for helping to keep you and your loved ones safe!

Feedback on Safe Distancing

The OneService App now has a dedicated function for reporting cases where safe distancing is not being practised. The information provided will help the relevant agencies to know where the “hotspots” are, which require further enforcement and patrolling action.
