Community in Bloom Gardens

Community Gardening

The Community in Bloom (CIB) programme aims to foster a community spirit and bring together residents, both young and old, to make Singapore our garden. Residents work hand-in-hand to create beautiful community gardens and contribute to making Singapore our City in a Garden. This will encourage Singaporeans to become more involved in their community.

The programme has since grown into a movement with close to 1,000 community gardens spread across the island. People from all walks of life from public and private estates, schools and organisations have come together to form gardening interest groups, plan flowers, fruits and vegetables, and work together to beautify their living environments.
