Park connectors open to recreational activity

The Park Connector Network (PCN) is an island-wide greenery network that connects parks, nature areas and open spaces. Today, it has evolved into a network of green corridors that brings communities together and provides opportunities for more recreational options for different interest groups. Park connectors also play an important role in enhancing the biodiversity of our cities, by serving as green corridors.

Stretching at 150km, the Round Island Route when fully completed will provide an uninterrupted leisure route around the island, linking major cultural, natural and historical attractions with our parks, park connectors and intra-town cycling networks. It will provide opportunities for recreational activities such as cycling, skating, jogging and hiking. These connections and activities will enhance our ‘City in a Garden’ experience for all residents.
